Neonatal Seizures

 A full-term infant's first 28 days of life are referred to as the neonatal phase. Seizures that start right after birth and last during the neonatal period are called neonatal seizures. The length of the pregnancy is referred to as gestational age. The infant's chronological age is their real legal age as of the moment of birth.The most frequent cause of newborn seizures in term neonates is hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy, which normally begins within the first 24 to 48 hours of life.
